WIW - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

I kept thinking about posting this during the week but have only just got around to it. Anyway, here's WIW...

Wednesday:
I wore some new things from Banana Republic (Team Wear, represent!) I really liked the print of the tee but it has weird dolman cap sleeves that stick out at the sides. I was able to make a little pleat and tack them down so they lay flat on my arms.

You look so cute in the houndstooth! It works great with a bright colour like your top in that photo. I also like your outfit with the new T. What is the pattern on that? Anyway, you're altogether stylish in it with the coat on overtop and your gorgeous teal scarf.

Love the sassy houndstooth jacket with the bright top. It's such a flattering fit. Proportions are perfection! Great pencil outfit too. The blouse is so pretty with the grey--the combination of print and textures make for a visually interesting outfit. You look fab!

Oh, I love them all. You have a great style going! In outerwear, I really like the booties and proportion. Of course the great coat is what does it, but it's not stealing the show. Very classic! Pencil skirts were made for you! This one is especially flattering and fits you perfectly. I like it both ways. Last blazer is absolutely gorgeous with the bright turquoise, and also the proportions are better for your lovely figure than in the previous photo. Shorter styles, waist defining, with 3/4 or scrunched up sleeves work well for you.

Emily, I am loving the pencil skirt/top/tights/booties combination on you. Fits my criteria for comfortable, stylish and professional. Also, the last outfit with the houndstooth blazer is awesome and so stylish for a casual Friday. I am trying to increase my style quotient for casual Fridays, so this is great inspiration! I will be honest - to my eye, your mauve and pink striped blouse does not demonstrate the level of style and confidence that is so evident in your other photos. Perhaps its retirement is a sign that your style is evolving?
