#1-2: What I wore to work today....
1. Grey Striped button down (Smart Set)
2. Long Dolman Sweater (Rickis)
3. Straight Legged black pants (Gap)
4. Black Leather Loafers (Aldo)
#3 is the Dog Walking edition of today's outfit. Swapped the loafers for flat booties, added a light jacket, and a beret I just got from Banana Republic.
Am I doing the beret thing correctly? I have never worn one before. It is covering my ears but back a bit from my hairline. I loathe cold ears, but also bent hair, so I am hoping the looser fit of the hat will keep my hair from getting smushed...
Generally I'm not a big waist surrender person, I prefer a more tailored fit, but I kind of like these two tops together. The sweater doesn't look sheer IRL in any light I checked - it is apparently one of those garments that becomes magically sheer when hit by a camera flash. Good thing I found that out before holiday party season...
As always, your suggestions for additions/amendments are encouraged
