I need to vent a little - please skip and move on to the outfits if you don't want my overly emotional pregnant rant.
My mother-in-law, who I like and get along with just fine, is also one of the most tactless people I have ever met. She told me this weekend I was huge, looked uncomfortable, can’t believe I have 3 more months, and that I look bigger than April (my sister-in-law who is pregnant and due in August).
I'm trying not to let this affect me since I'm normally pretty content with my body - both pregnant and when non-pregnant. DH says he thinks it's because I’m all belly. April is quite a big heavier than me so her belly doesn't look so big when compared to the rest of her (not a criticism of April - she's been on bedrest a good portion of her pregnancy).
I just don't understand why everyone thinks it ok to comment on a pregnant women's size when they would never do that normally. I get a lot of comments on my size -- usually that I look big, but occasionally that I look small. Normally I can just blow off the comments, but they start to get to me after a while. Anyway, sorry about the rant, moving on to clothes...
#1/2 - Casual Friday outfit. This shirt is a loan from my (very petite) co-worker and is already almost too short.
#2 - Casual weekend outfit to run errands and go to lunch with my in-laws.
#3/4 - This tube skirt always makes me feel a little self-conscious so I was happy to find this sleeveless cotton shirt that covers my rear end. It's not a drapey fabric but at least it's long.
Thanks for looking and comments or suggestions are appreciated!
