Mostly due to Angie's influence (or, shall I say, my Angie admiration), I have slowly come round to the idea that blouses are more suitable for me than knits. Because my torso is pretty blocky after my pregnancies, I felt that finding tops that fit without gaping to be difficult. Well thanks to YLF I have found some success:

1 & 2. I have had my eyes open for an Equipment blouse for years, but finally took the ebay plunge thanks to Una. I love it. I am wearing it with workhorse Miu Miu long shorts that I bought second hand and my new Janet Sport shoes bought on vacation. (This is a going out in the evening with the kids. It is too hot for the day in August.)

3. New Stefanel blouse bought in Venice during the July sale. I love that it fits my shoulder and does not gape over my chest or stomach. Otherwise outfit repeat.

4. Consignment shop McQ top. I wasn't sure about this top but the shop owner, whom I like, insisted it flattered my figure. Hmmm.

5. This I did not wear and don't think it works as is. The jeans are thrifted gap boyfriend (from a few years ago). If I were buying them new I would size up, but I think these will only work with a tucked in shirt? Shoes are from Israeli brand Couple Of - they make very comfortable, low heal shoes. And these are peep toed loafers (perhaps only I find that idea exciting?)!

Nothing is returnable, but much is sellable, and I am happy receive to frank comments and suggestions!
