WIW - Trouve (Angie Pick) skirt.

This Trouve skirt was an Angie's pick from the Nordies Memorial Day Sale. I am finally getting around to posting it. The skirt is lovely and silky soft and I adore it. I have worn it for a Bday celebration and a Tea Party and it was so comfy I didn't want to take it off! I tried it on with a black shirt just for color but wore it with the cream shirt to lighten things up (a style goal for me). Is the tuck OK? I got the "why is your shirt only part way tucked from DH with a strange look". What do you think? Any other suggestions on what to pair with this skirt? I don't know how you all get the pics to post so am putting the old school link below.

Gorgeous skirt on you, Jeanie! I love it with both tops. I can see how it might be difficult to pair with colours....what about grey or olive or taupe?

Ooh, I love it. Looks terrific with the black and cream. The half tuck looks very current. How did you find the sizing? I'm tempted.

Both tops look good to me! I think the semi-tuck may work better with a shorter top so that the difference is less severe; at the very least hubby may find it less odd (seems to help with mine ). The extra drapiness of the second top makes it work quite well with the partial tuck, even though it's long.

kellygirl - The black & mauve in this skirt would look so awesome on you with your dark hair and creamy skin. I found the skirt true to size. I got a L which equates to my size 12.
Ceit - I'm glad to hear that you like the mirroring of the chevron pattern... I noticed it when I took the pic and was wondering if folks would find it odd or not.
Aida - Good point about the drapiness of the top. I tried very hard to explains to hubs how the fabric drape was for flattery and coverage.
