WIW - transitional weather - YouLookFab Forum

Well, as per Angie's thread, my idea of transitional is below 85F! And apparently it is hard to catch me without a hat on at this time of year.

1. Not too sure about how this works, seems a bit dark. Rest assured the sleeves were soon pushed up though.
Shirt - Vince second hand a couple of years ago
Shorts - thrifted local mall brand, sort of a cross between harem and cargo
Shoes - Daniella Lehavi (end of season sale but new :-))
Hat- Columbia Sports
2. DH took this with his camera using Google Blur his new favorite thing on a recent trip to Tel Aviv:
Top- Ronen Chen thrifted
Shorts - True Religion thrifted
Shoes - Shani Bar thrifted
Bag - Christian Lacroix thrifted
3. Ok this is mostly about the accessories human and otherwise. I thrifted these Gap jeans and Janet Sport sandals and I am not sure I love them, but they worked well for a small hike along a rocky shore. The hat is from H&M and I have to say their hats are pretty darn good. And yes I wear my thrifted YSL bag for such occasions!

Great outfits. I think one is perfect. Your legs are just the right amount of "lightness." #2 is fab too. The photography on that one is stellar! As much as I try with DD's fancy camera, I can never get perfect photos like that! Great accessories in 3

Your kids have great style! Especially your son. Love his pose too.

Also I cannot get over how much I like you in that color of bright pink(?) in the third picture. The first outfit is very you, with the fashion forward cut of pants and shoes. The shoes have a ballet vibe, have you tried them with a dress or skirt? Or leggings.

Hah your transitional temps are my gorgeously warm summer day temps ^^ Great outfits for the temperature, I am loving all the long shorts. #1 does look a bit dark, but I'd guess that pushing the sleeves up would add just enough lightness (along with your legs and hat, of course). I really like it! #2 is a perfect example of a clean and well-fitting base outfit getting punched up with fun accessories. And #3 looks super for a hike, you all look like you're having a good time ^^

Thanks! Kelly Google blur is an app for the Galaxy phone if I recall correctly. DH is a major geek both professionally and in his spare time.

First of all, you pull off hats so well! I especially like the shoes in #1 and #2 and how they add interest to simple outfits. The ones in #3 are nice too, and it's especially great if they work for hiking without looking too gear-ish. And lovely "accessories"!

Great casual outfits - I agree that #1 is darker but I do wear black and dark colors all year too (or I'd never get to wear some of my favorites). I love that photo in #2 - you look so pretty and the shoes are so fun! Great family photo and outfit as well. I think a summer hat is a perfect topper when it's 85+.

Queen Hat, you look killer in #1. The white hat adds a Summer spunk - and so will your salt and pepper hair when the hat is removed.

Fun happy colours in #2 and its a great casual look.

And look at you hiking in style with your very best accessories in #3. I vote killer all round. xo
