Having just said that I would not be a good candidate for FI's tonal challenge [https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....-challenge], this is my outfit today - kinda tonal, although not completely so?

Recognizing that I've never been a great photographer, lately I am particularly bad due to various and sundry family members dotted around the house working/schooling in the good lighting spots ... so apologies, but I think you get the idea.

Jeans today as I'm going to the bank and the car dealership to pick up new wheels (my 10 year old car finally was going to cost me more than it is worth). So "dressing up" today ha!

Thanks all - Lisa, yes, the red feels warm, and not too colourful against the gray skies. The car isn't fancy - the new Nissan Rogue to replace my old one. But I feel like I'm in the modern age now, and the 2021 model is pretty nice looking relatively speaking - and I have Android Auto to replace the CD player in my old car

2 words ...backup camera...i got a new to me car in 2019 and the backup camera was/if life changing

anyway, love the rich reddish burgundy..yup. Tonal even if its not a column of color....

It looks tonal to me! And a bit of a surprise to me because I have similar rust tone suede booties, but don’t typically wear ‘red’ especially as a solid. Yet I would try out this combo. In any case I’ll be trying my booties with a new patterned shirt where one of the colours turned out to be a bit redder and less rust than I was expecting, so thanks for the inspiration.

I cannot trust my back-up camera. It was new to me 2 years ago now and I still can't get the hang of it. Lol.

On back-up cameras: I’ve tried exactly one rental car with one. Backed into another car with it. I wouldn’t have continued backing up, but on my screen up front, it looked like there was still room. Bah humbug! I’m glad we live where we don’t need a car.

This looks amazing and I love the boots. How are they holding up in the slush? I was picking up a car yesterday too but a rental while ours is in the shop for 14 days due to a collision. A complete blizzard during pickup and the transaction is done outside in the wind and snow due to covid restrictions.

Thank you everyone! Glory, we've been going from mild (for Toronto that is - around freezing) to bitter cold in wild swings, but haven't had a ton of slush, oddly ... but if they are anything like my other Blondos, they should be fine (I do tend to wear my Timberlands when it's slippy though as the heel is a little higher, so that limits their exposure).

Brooklyn, I only have one winter handbag in rotation at the moment, which is black, half faux-leather, half faux-suede ... I do have an old blush faux-suede one that would look nice but it's a bit worse for wear, must take it out and try to clean it up a little!

FI - doh! Yes, I tend to use the tech as a second opinion only; I still drive old-school
