Rachy I love your neighbour! I would totally do that. Why not have faith in your child that they are capable of helping???

I have to do a mom-brag though (sorry, annoying I know) ... Teen boy cooked me lunch so I could have a break after the big shop! Toasted spinach and egg English muffin. He's a good kid and will never starve ha!

Absolutely gorgeous! Perfect as it is. The scarf is totally fab.

I'm with you on teenage boys. Due to the COVID-19 shortages, we were recently only allowed to buy 2 x 2 litres of a milk in a trip. My 14 year old goes through 2L a day, so it is hardly conducive to cutting down on shopping trips! I must say I don't often take him shopping with me, but he always unpacks the car at this end, which is good enough for me. Bonus that you got lunch! Sounds yum.

TG you look so pretty! This is perfect just as it is, lipstick and all.

DH has warned me that our picky eating DS will turn into PacMan once the teen hormones kick in.

Bijou, or worse - he'll stay picky AND turn into PacMan, like mine, bless him It's pounds and pounds of crackers and plain pasta for him lol! How old is DS? Mine's just turned 14.

Love the outfit, TG and the colours including the patterned scarf really seem to work well for you. I too have a teenage boy at home (aged 14) and a daughter (11) - the teen eats like mad and consumes milk like it's going out of style. We cannot keep up. So, I hear you on the stress of striving for a full week's worth of groceries in one fell swoop. Impossible! Somehow need to teach him to pace himself....but not a likely outcome for us. Happy Friday!

I actually like the overall outfit colouring here - agreed that you don't need to make too much of a change, because it feels quite harmonious already. Maybe some colourful earrings though, if you're not sure?
