Thanks again for everyone who commented on my post about what to wear to my grandmother's funeral. Everyone had very helpful comments. I want to thank Joy especially for reminding me that I should pay special attention to what my mother might want. I recreated the outfits when I got back because I didn't take any pictures while on the trip.

#1. I wore the black and white patterned blouse and black pants to the wake. These pants are looser and longer than the pants I showed originally.

#2. I wore the black drapey blouse and pencil skirt to the funeral mass and luncheon (Chicago tradition) the following day. My grandmother gave me the gold necklace with my name so I thought it was appropriate to wear.

#3. I brought these pieces to wear as a backup outfit or to mix and match with the others in case I got spilled on, thrown up on, something ripped, etc. This is an older picture so I would have worn the same sandals as in 1 or 2.

Thanks for looking and comments are appreciated.
