Hi friends, a quick WIW since I'm wearing something approximating an outfit today (not that you haven't seen this one before). As per an old thread, I was hunting for ponte pants/leggings but sort of chickened out of any really nice ones, because I can't deal with returns by mail at the moment. However, in my hunting I found
some blog post that suggested that Old Navy's Stevie ponte pants were great, and given deep discounts on their site, I thought I'd give them a shot.

They aren't bad! My only criticism is that they are not thick enough to hide VPL, but to be honest I usually wear something long over leggings and if I don't, then people shouldn't be looking at my bum anyways The site I believe calls them high-waisted but I'd say they are more a mid-waist - which is fine for me. Overall, I like them - very comfy and easily transition from more active to slightly more polished looks. I think they'd be great with the loafer-slides I'm planning to buy if we ever can go out shopping again! But for today white sneaks worked.

BR coatigan, striped shirt, and because I'm having fun with my colour palette, I brought in the burgundy for my walks with this cozy scarf that used to be my Mom's. Made sure all the pretty-filters were off on my camera so I can start to see the effect of the colours for myself ... I definitely like this one and think it suits me pretty well - it's a shade I always have somewhere in my closet. (excuse my swollen lips which are having an allergic reaction *sigh*)
