Winter has arrived here - as it is supposed to in June. We have had a mix of clear crisp days and dour grey wet ones. But the celebrations have been on - yay!! A wedding, a special reunion dinner, a birthday lunch and a Ceilidh (Scottish dance and music night - no photos of this look)
And of course there has been work and sport - two constants!!
1) Worn to a wedding on the 2nd June. New dress and shoes. To be honest it was a little cold in this photo but we moved inside quickly after this rare dressy photo of the two of us. The new dress was great and my shoes lasted the distance including a lot of dancing!!
2a) Trying to wear the pink jacket that I pontificated about a few weeks back. I don't like it here but I do like my new navy blue Briarwood bag, a birthday present from Jon (chosen by me). This jacket needs either a column of colour OR a dress under for me to feel happy in it. So it will go aside until spring.
2b) This outfit did double duty for a birthday lunch and a reunion dinner. I have a silver pendant on as well. which is masked. Like Angie I am enjoying having new black high rise skinnies!! I thought I was over them - but they have filled a hole. The black and white tunic and skinnies are made by my friend Shani.
3a) Worn to work - not my best pic but I did like the outfit. Hair is crazy though - I do not know why.
3b) Worn to work - I have not worn boots over jeans for a while. I enjoyed this equestrian inspired outfit for a real change up. The jacket and pants do emphasize my thighs but I am strangely okay about that.
4) Then it got freezing and I had to go and collect a son from the rugby so I added the coat and the beret!!
5) Here is a rugby photo showing how it can be cold here (this is a different day)....I love love love this atmospheric photo of teen sport.
6) Close up of my earrings for the wedding.
Thanks for looking and your comments and suggestions are always welcome.
