We went out with some friends to this lovely island nearby and had a lovely Saturday.

WIW- Dark jeans
yellow sleeveless top
Jacket brought in SAve Tibet exhibition
Coral studs

Hair tied up I am growing out my hair and it no longer listens to me

On happiness scale I was pretty happy with my outfit Guess an 8

Kindly ignore the fountain on head snap but I can,t find the pic with my Jacket on

I am still trying to find my style direction so any help around is welcome

Suggestions please on how can I make this better

I love the yellow on you! This is a lovely relaxed casual outfit. Forgive me but I did smile at #3:). My only suggestion would be that the jacket is quite heavy and masculine in its styling so a soft scarf to soften it around you face would be a nice addition.

Beautiful pictures! You look great and dressed for the occasion. On finding your style (still looking for mine) all I can say is keep posting pictures like this and it will begin to emerge. You're doing great! And I think a scarf would be a fun next step for you, too.

Oh I love, love, love that top. A yellow top adds a splash of sunshine to a grey day like nothing else. I do agree that the vibe of the jacket doesn't really match the vibe of the top, and that a scarf would provide the bridge between the two quite nicely. Scarves are good at doing that kind of thing.

Perfect color, Ramya! The scarf idea is very good, I think. The blouse is probably easy to combine with many different bottoms? You look very appropriately dressed for the occation. The fountain looks very good on you, too

Love the vivid color! Have you tried other colors that are similarly vibrant? I could see you in a cerulean blue, emerald or raspberry.

Claireis right -- posting pics often is the best way to see patterns emerge. Don't wait 'til everything perfect first!

Ramya - you are a ray of sunshine in that yellow. And I love it with jeans! Pretty!

I agree with the others about posting photos - although I will say it's just as constructive to take the pictures and assess them yourself if you're not comfortable with posting them on the forum. You will see very quickly what you like and what you don't like about your style. Also, you could post and, just like you did today, ask for specific feedback on one aspect of your outfit to help finetune your style. I've done that a few times and I'm really starting to get an idea of what works for me.

Oh yeah, and you are making that fountain in #3 look really good!
