WIW - This week with 4 outfits (revised)

It was casual week for me this week so I got to wear jeans even in this 100 degree weather. That's okay with me since I'm indoors all day. These photos are in no particular order.

1-2: my anthro top with loft jeans and my Laila Rowe hat that I've gotten many compliments on. Sandals from Ross. (Check out the bruise from my bike accident. Shoulder much better so no longer on a sling)

3-4: old anthro top with BR jeans and wedges from DSW (forgot designer) worn today. I got my haircut today after work and straightened it so looks less pouffy. Tomorrow the hair will look completely different.

5-6: BR tie top with black Macy's pants.

7-8: peach top from TJ Maxx , Loft chevron skirt and Steve Madden flats.

Thank you Angie. I've been inspired by the 20s and 40s eras lately. When I recently saw a commercial to the new Great Gatsby movie coming later this year, I remembered my vintage days of high school and college. I knew I could carry this look in a modern way without having to be too literal.

These are all fantastic DC! I don't know how you can stand to wear jeans in 100 degree heat, but you sure look good in them! I adore that top in 1/2 - just beautiful!

That first outfit is my favorite of the bunch, but all are great. The top in 1 shows off your beautiful shoulders and arms so perfectly (even with the bruise - glad to hear you're mending well)! And that hat is terrific.

Wonderful casual looks are much more difficult to formulate than dressier looks, imho. These are artful, but easy, from start to finish! I'm with Angie in giving #1 special mention. Good to see you're healing from your spill, too.

Oh, your poor shoulder and arm! So glad you are mending nicely! These are all wonderful. You are dressing for the oppressive heat with such flair! You have some great pieces that really add drama, like that old Anthro top.

I absolutely love #1-2 on you, because you look so gorgeous in that style of top and your hat is adorable, but they are all great looks!

PS I have never seen your hair look anything less that perfect, so I can't imagine it looked too "poufy" :)!
