Hi all. It's been a busy weekend with a good friend visiting and then me visiting family so I managed to take a few photos.

#1-2 - Another Ebay find. Love this silk dress. Haven't worn out yet.
3 - running errands
4- going out saturday night
5 - visiting the family

Deborah - I love my Beatles shirt (from F21). I am a sucker for concert shirts and have collected many the last one being the Black Keys concert. Will have to wear that sometime soon.

Savitha - I wasn't sure about the yellow belt but put it on anyway just to see what it would look like.

Transconna shannon - DITTO to you. You KNOW how I feel about your clothes. :)\

Jayne - Olive color is something I would have never worn until recently and was surprised how good it looked on me. I need to take more chances on colors I stay away from.

ModGrl - you know you rock and thanks.

Angie - thanks to you for inspiring me with your fashion sense. I'm hoping to look a bit more modern come Fall/Winter time (possibly more of a 60s vibe with lots of geometrics, etc). I think I'm just going though this 30s and 40s stage right now.

Agree with Angie - I am really loving your vintage 30s/40s look lately, and your hair and red lips are the perfect accessories for the look. The dress is so fab, and I love it with the yellow and red in #2. Love the olive top in #4 also, and how it echoes the pattern in the shoes. (I tried that top on a couple of weeks ago, and let's just say it did not love me the way it loves you.)

Ladies, thank you all so much for your compliments. These days I go with what works for me especially with a good fit and dresses have been my friend this hot summer. I can't get enough of them. I'm still looking for a causal black dress or shift (not necessarily vintage style).

MaryK - I tried doing the half tucked at work and my co-worker kept telling me my shirt was sticking out. She didn't know this was now a trend.

That dress is GORGEOUS and totally made for you. So lovely. I have a collection of concert tees too, but from high school (when I really went to the shows and the tees were about $10-20 - oh I'm dating myself now) so doubtful they would still fit. You look adorable in yours. I love how the cutout from the green top is somewhat echoed in the shoes.

Very funny about coworker and semi-tuck. I tried to point out to a colleague he had was very fashion forward having successfully mixed patterns (a blue microcheck shirt and a yellow with blue polkadot tie) but he looked at me funny and just said "they both have blue". Oh well.
