WIW - techfabric jumpsuit

Wearing this super comfortable Patagonia Fleetwith Romper today, with Everlane Glove Mules. Both items are from recycled materials.
I live in technical fabrics, especially working from home and on travel. I am actual in a hotel room in Pittsburgh right now ...almost feels like old times. (But not really!) Came to be with family while Dad underwent surgery. All went great, super relieved.

Side note- it’s so awesome that my yoga class is live-streamed. Didn’t miss a beat just because I am not home.

kkards - it has been an endless battle to make my parents understand the reality of COVID and what they should not be doing - namely, interacting with my brother and his young family, all of whom play indoor hockey. The minute you guys "went green" my brother's 3 kids were back in the rink on a daily basis. But since my parents were already in their "lockdown bubble", Mom and Dad do not/will not understand that it is not safe now to interact with this family. It's maddening. And I'm sorry to hear Pgh is going the other direction. I have a massive can of Lysol with me - sprayed the entire room down on arrival, and no one but my sister and I have been in it. Only my Mom could go in the hospital. The only other place i have been is Starbucks. I didn't even stop in Breezewood on my way!

I'm still pretty turned off by yesterday's tech fabric discussion but am glad that many of you have more of a sense of humour about it than I apparently do/n't. That said, this is a GREAT jumpsuit, those are GREAT mules, and you have GREAT arms and shoulders. Envious of all, to be honest How walkable are the mules? And is that a knit fabrication ?

I'm totally focused on arms, pecs and shoulders in my workouts right now as it seems that every day (literally!) shows less toned and tight skin on my upper arms, and under my arm pits. Gah.

I have those mules in black, but haven’t worn them out yet because Covid. They are a knit, and very comfortable. I had to size up 1/2 size for better length in the shoe. They’re only a 2” heel, so very (potentially) walkable. Also, Lisa, I’m with you. Still very turned off about yesterday.

This is my first run with the Glove Mules (pretty excited to wear real shoes this week, not going to lie). These shoes are extremely comfortable on my wide feet. Not sure how nice they look, since they do show the shape of a wide foot. The heel is not too high, at least for me, and is a solid block heel.

I almost bought the Glove boots this winter, but didn't do it because I worried about the wideness look.

Thanks for the nice comments about my arms & shoulders - all credit to my yoga/fitness-for-durability teacher - it's daily work with resistance bands and yoga 3x a week since Nov 2018. It's weird to see those muscles, actually. I did not go into my exercise program with this as a goal. At all. I wanted to rehab after back surgery, and build head to toe strength.

OMG, you look fantastic! I love that jumpsuit and now I want one. I have a grey summer jumpsuit that I think I bought five years ago for my birthday, and I like it, but it's SILK and not practical. Silk shows sweat stains, and around here, that's no good.

You've now got me going down the rabbit hole looking at that jumpsuit online. I'm tempted to order one but worried about the fit. I saw a couple of reviews that it wasn't great on a short torso or wide hips. I'm wondering if Patagonia cuts too narrow in the hips/legs for me.

You look amazing! Great jumpsuit and I love those mules, I don't think your feet look wide in them at all. I'm afraid that heel would be too much for me.

Funny you should talk about Breezewood - we live in Michigan and travel to family in Baltimore once in a while and have to stop there every time. Good place to stop for food and gas before the final stretch.

You are all so sweet, and thank you Angie for the big compliment! I really love that jumpsuit - wore it all day, drove 4 hours back, total comfort. It literally feels like you are barely wearing anything, and it is easy to get in and out of for rest room needs. And the sandals stayed comfortable all day, too. I may duplicate those in another color. I already ordered the sage green jumpsuit, and am going to retire a couple of pairs of wide leg tech fabric Eddie Bauer crops that were critical items on our trip to Israel last fall but are too long on me, as these items will fill that need for travel.

Thank you to the Fabber who posted the Patagonia skort a few weeks ago on a thread about bike gear (that started with a question about whether the RipSkirt would be ok on a bike). I haven't bought a Patagonia item in years, and the skort is also really comfortable. Same fabric. (I could not collect Patagonia items - sorry!).

Janet - I also have a short torso with hips. At your height you'd wear this jumpsuit at the right leg length - that curved hem would look so cute above the ankle. I would also wear this to a crab feast! Give it a try!
