It's cold and wet so it's time for skinny jeans, tan boots, a green merino with touch of navy and taupe stripe poking out the bottom, and a neutral scarf.
I've been mulling on tops today and I know this is not the best neckline for me - it's too high but the scarf breaks things up and helps to make it work.
I have a thing for stripes and really like to wear a bit of stripe sticking out from under a top - I like the contrast and it gives me an extra bit of width around the hips. In fact I think I prefer stripes as an accent rather than a star attraction...interesting!
This colour combination is a little more me-ish than the black, grey and red of the other day. Even thought I liked the b-g-r very much, only red is one of my go to colours.
