Angie's blog post about baseball caps led me to today's outfit. I feel very comfortable, feminine, and eye-catching in this. Totally me, kinda now, kinda wow.

I have picties with and without the baseball cap, just to show you how much pizzazz it adds to an otherwise plain but lovely, forumlaic outfit. Props and poses were selected by my adorable hubby, including my "little leaguer" shots. He also chose the location to show off nature's gorgeous bounty, neon-pink geraniums and creamy climbing roses. And who's that peeking out with flower petals on her back - our team mascot, Penny!

Adding the hat gave me the incentive to "feminize" the rest of the outfit. I started with this candy-striped, tuxedo blouse with mini-ruffles. It's very soft cotton and a little rumpled which keeps it from feeling too fussy. You can't really see it but I also have a lace-edged camisole underneath. And for more fem-power, I am wearing floral fabric earrings.
