WIW Sunday - Dress a week challenge, Team wear it now

As promised, I'm wearing my new blue dress 'just because'. Odds are we are simply going bowling lol.
After I joked how my dress matches my house slippers, the BF tossed me the smiley pillow. Perfect match! You like it?

I love it! I have been wearing a lot of things *just because* and sometimes I get taken somewhere nice because of it!

The fabric of that dress looks beautiful with the simple, drape-y design. The sandals and belt add glamour and richness to the outfit, too. Love it! Elegant casual for sure!

Aw, thanks ladies! We ended up at Ruby Tuesday's (don't laugh). I've never been and the idea of a salad bar was tempting. Both the hostess and waitress complimented my dress, which I admit felt good
Bowling tomorrow likely.

I WANT that dress! It is fantastic! And so chic. Are you super comfortable in it as well? The slightly slouchy styling, yet still somewhat fitted (not too much volume) and interesting cut of sleeve are tdf!

Oh, thank you all so much!! I hemmed and hawed on this at first. A little out of my 'fitted waist' comfort zone. Duh on me lol!
Angie, I am really drawn to this look lately, but, afraid of overdoing it, I've only got a couple of dresses and sandals like this. Hopefully that will make for more wear of the ones I have, rather than my old pitfall of wanting one in every color, resulting in only getting to wear each a couple times a year lol.

The dress a week I decided on for the month of August. July involved getting dressed and taking a pic every day, even though I knew I would be just sitting in the house 80% of the time. It's easy to lounge/pj in such situations and I didn't want to go there.
