Howdy. Actually left the house 2 days in a row LOL. My jewelry challenge is still on, but I'm getting down to the less worn pieces.
Just because the BF caught me off guard I thought I'd post, in the spirit of relaxing about being 'photo ready'. Goofy is the new sexy, right?? By the by, my rant behind me, I am so okay with what responses I do or don't get to today's post. Really! I'm good

Tonight just to run to the grocery store. Under 80 degrees meant JEANS simply because I could. I am finding the red top gets shorter every wash :/ Much more 80's short boxy than when first acquired. Got my $10 out of it anyway. Wine glass earrings to echo the red.

Yesterday was to go see the Raiders at a local sports pub. I contemplated team colors again but just went with being a tree. Added orange rings to my Mohop straps just for a kick. Bracelet is very dainty but was a lovely gift from the BF early in our relationship.

Mo I love #1. I admire your self confidence to post a candid shot:). I really like this outfit. Red is a good color on you and this silhouette is really attractive. The wine glass earrings are cute I haven't see anything g like those before. The orange rings are a clever idea...do they come with the shoes or was this your idea?

Thanks Deborah. I decided to just relax a bit hee hee. The rings come with the shoes - along with some dark wood, some light, 7 different colored ribbons. But you can do whatever your imagination desires, really.

Great red on you - if this continues to shrink you'll have to hunt down another one. I like your second outfit too and would never have thought "tree" but now I can't stop thinking it.

In this house, goofy IS sexy! I think on the DH's dating profile (where we met!) he said he was looking for a sexy dork. Enter me! lol

Both outfits are very cool - loving the looser tops, they feel very current and movement friendly. The wine earrings are so you! Is this how you're getting your wine while you wait to see if the blush blazer fits?

You look marvelous in that shade of red! We are having 80's tomorrow (with high humidity) and jeans sound too hot but the clams have been packed away. How do you do it?!

Sweet, fun, and carefree! Love the tree look, and the eensy pop of orange! You look like a tree if it had two orange root rings (like toe rings, sorry, I am also goofy).

I'm a bit embarrassed to say this, but I've been mostly lurking here for 2 years (wow that sounds creepy lol). I wanted to tell you that I've always been inspired by your posts since I also don't have much reason to get dressed up and it's beyond hot where I live too. Your outfits, budget, and style journey is so relatable to me. Your post earlier really made me think, I'm going to try harder to get rid of my shyness and tell everyone how great they are! I think the wine glass earrings are my fave I also pulled out my jeans (although it's not quite below 80 degrees) and I know how much it feels like such a special treat!

Rae, I slipped a bottle of merlot into the cart last night, so not completely wine free this week. But it's on his card, not mine! Devious, or just smart thinking? Maybe some of both!
As for the red, it used to be my favorite color from way back in grade school and then I somehow got away from it. I do really like it, but this top was almost a wardrobe malfunction reaching way back in the freezer case for frozen meals. I will be on the lookout for a replacement red top.
Sara, the jewelry challenge was just to keep me from going stir crazy, but like my shoe challenge last month, in the process I learn what I grab for first and what gets left to the very end. The more dainty pieces that don't pack much visual impact are not as worn as the bolder pieces right now. I did already purge a costume pendant charm, but my real silver I will keep, dainty or not.

Whenever I wear green and brown together, I always think 'tree' too. I like the red top with the cut-outs and I hope it stops shrinking.

Red is a great color for you and your jeans are perfect! I just saw your BR post from the other day and WOW how great is that? I haven't been on as much the past several days but just wanted to say thanks for giving me a favorite to mark to help me come up with some similar capsules of daily casual wear for warm weather. I feel like sometimes it's just not worth the effort to post a simple shorts/top/sandals/necklace outfit even though it's pretty much the uniform of necessity when it's still 90 in October.

Great warm weather casual style Mo! I totally feel ya. My outfits have been same ole, same ole since it's still pretty warm. Like you, I get really excited to go out after dark and bust out some jeans, lol! I really like you in red AND green, and you have the prettiest, daintiest ankles. You're wise to highlight them.

Your jewelry challenge is a good idea. I'm starting to think I should do something similar to your challenges or I will only wear my swimsuit or gear alternately all day on the days I don't go out. Thanks for inspiring me with your inimitable Mo style.

Your post made me think a bit about the pics I post. I usually try to take three or four and then pick the best of the bunch. It makes me wonder if I'm fooling myself a bit by only posting the best since some of the unchosen pics are really not all that flattering. Hmmm...

I love the second outfit you posted. I am having a bit of a love affair with grey and on my monitor the pants read a grey/brown. I also really like the detail on the top.

I have almost no jewellery (except all the silver bracelets/bangles I buy in Mexico) and seem to wear the same few items over and over. I should try to do a similar challenge to get them out of the very pretty jewellery box and into the daylight.

Yes, I'm also coming to the conclusion you need to wear more red. You look FANTASTIC in red. You really wear it well. Forget pea green, hehe.

Ok, now, in #3 I know you're showing your earrings, but your pony tail holder caught my eye. It's so "finished" looking. Where did you find it? That's the one thing about hair accessories, I always feel like I'm slumming it in what I've got... rubber bands basically.

I feel for all of you that are in the warm weather casual rut . . . it's fall for everyone else and here we still are in our shorts!! And, yes, Angie, it was a treat to put on jeans for once. The cover of darkness made it possible lol.
