I have enjoyed seeing what others wore on Christmas - so here is a photo of me and my son on Christmas day. I always like to wear a dress on Christmas day and this one is a favourite because I love the colours. My dress is not new, it is by a New Zealand designer, Trelise Cooper from 2 years ago.

Delurked - yes it was a lovely day and we spent Christmas with family, so it was lots of fun.
Shevia - I agree, my son is super adorable, but I just may be biased!
Shedev - thank you, I often sport black, so it was nice to wear a summery dress.
BrieN - thank you for the compliments. I think my son is very cute - this is such a lovely age.
Rachy - I always love Christmas, but I would love to experience a cold, white Christmas, as for those of us in the southern hemisphere, it is always the height of summer. I have fantasies of an escape to Switzerland one year!

Brooklyn - the real Bijou (my Westie) had a wonderful Christmas and has been playing non-stop with her toy duck that Santa brought. This post was inspired by you, I loved seeing your Christmas outfits.

I like to have a new 'Christmas dress' but it doesn't always eventuate.

Maneera after the hot summers that you have, I thought that you would be loving the cold weather! Thank you for the lovely compliment, it was fun to dress up to catch up with my family.
JAileen, a summer Christmas is lovely as long as you don't want to eat a traditional hot Christmas dinner. Cold meats, seafood and salads are favourite Christmas fare in the hot weather.
