Hello, lovelies!

I wore this YLF-inspired concoction last night to a meeting of CERO, Close Encounters Research Organization. It was a very interesting evening, lots of slides and videos from Russia and Mexico where there have been a plethora of fascinating UFO sightings, especially recently. It was DH and me and our dear friend, so we had lots of great conversation on the 75-mile car ride (each way). Another highlight was a really great dinner before the meeting at Brent's Deli. Pastrami on onion-egg bread, chicken noodle soup, and bread pudding with hot fudge and whipped cream. No regrets. I felt so comfortable, pleasantly chic and unfussy, happiness factor a 10.

Striped sweater: LL Bean
Polka-dot skinnies: Gap - I love these, they are lightweight and will be a staple this summer.
Belt: you can't see it but I need it to keep the pants in place!
Boots: Diba
Necklace: DIY and it's doing something funny in the photos, please excuse. There's a little magnet to swap out the colored stone. Maybe it's magnetized to my underwire!

Oh, by the way, our friend said, "you look really nice, Julie. In fact you might be a tad overdressed." SCORE!
