Just decided to take a quick pic today. Meeting an old colleague for lunch and then picking up a print I am buying from a fellow artist. Casual and comfy for a cool and windy day.

This is about as uniform dressing as I get. Bootcut jeans, boots, sweater, jacket. Add jewelry, scarf for breezes and a touch of pattern, and bag.

The bag is new, bought at the ACC Craft Fair a couple of weeks ago. It converts to an even roomier tote by unsnapping a section at the bottom. Wonderfully lightweight and I like the colors and stingray texture. It isn’t photographing here very well.

Sweater is a nice merino blend from Nordstrom’s Caslon line. Bought it online for $45 but then saw the identical sweater in the Rack for $30 so I exchanged. Great deal for one of my favorite colors (can you tell?! LOL with the phone case and my ring, that’s obvious!).

The blue ring is from the craft fair as well. A fabulous young designer from SCAD did these designs using electric currents and water, and made a whole rainbow of colors. I got the very last one. The silver ring on my first finger with the leaf imprint is from a MICA grad jewelry maker, a couple of years ago. I love supporting these artisans!

I’m firmly in my comfort zone here, but I enjoy this and it feels true to me. Other days I get more adventurous — wider jeans, oversized tops. But today I’m content with a bit of classic.
