Hi ladies
It's been quite a while since I posted a WIW (and then I only posted a couple) and now I'm feeling just as I felt before posting my very first!! Nervous!!! I recently spent a lot of time reviewing my closet and photographing everything to load into Stylicious. What a wake up call that was! To cut a long story short I was shocked to discover I had so many clothes that I never wore. This may, or may not, sound crazy but I've bought most of my clothes with the idea of mixing and matching, but I never seem to do that with them - I find one combination I like and wear it over and over again, instead of taking the time to see what else I can do with the pieces. Does that make sense? Anyway, the penny finally dropped that I wasn't "working my closet" at all when I could literally see everything in front of me via Stylicious. My workplace is smart casual and what I wore today is pretty basic but I've never worn the "fern" pattern top with the green jacket and my black pants. (I've always worn the green jacket with a green and cream stripe top and the black pants and am totally bored with that look.) Today, just by wearing the different top gave the green jacket and black pants outfit a totally different "vibe" and I felt good all day. Amazing what one little tweak can do!!! I'm now having a lot of fun sorting different outfits with my "old favourites" and the "never worns" in my closet.

Green jacket - Jacqui E (bought early last year)
Top - Country Road (bought at their summer sale last year but never worn)
Pants - David Lawrence (this is their third or fourth summer - love them)
Shoes - Calvin Klein (bought last year during my summer hols in Seattle)

PS - just figured out how to use the self timer on my camera but need to get the tripod sorted for the next WIW
