When I look at my summer wardrobe, I see so much color that it makes me pause. You know, minimalist’s struggles
It happens every year and at mid summer point all I want to wear is black or white. But this year I promised that I would try to use any opportunity to wear as much of my clothes as possible. Some pieces are new but I buy way less this year.

Shoes are still challenging, only some of them fit right now but the swelling in my left foot has diminished considerably. I make do with what I can wear.

1. Vince pinstripe pants (my summer favorite) & COS silk top in dark navy, both from 2018. Massimo Dutti flats, 2021
2-3 Same pants, Uniqlo colab with Marni t-shirt (trying to show back side as well, sorry for a awkward pose), 2022. COS sandals, 2019
4. Marimekko dress, 2021. Marc Jacobs bag, 2021
5. COS dress, 2021. APC bag, new this year
6. 2022 NAS purchase - Eileen Fisher jumpsuit. Massimo Dutti bag, 2021. Vince sandals that I’m still considering.

#4 is my fave!! That Marimekko pattern is so striking and you wear it beautifully. Love the light neutrals and dainty flats. Pretty!

What a treat! You wear these pieces with such panache! I can’t pick a fave but those pin stripe pants look amazing in both iterations—perfect amount of volume and perfect hemline. Love! The dresses are so fab and right up my alley—voluminous but not too much. Love the new jumpsuit too! You have fab style!!

Suz, I wear a lot of navy, my other main color, but wanted a jumpsuit in black. If my hair was that lovely shade of platinum like yours, I would probably love to wear black even more

Thanks, LJP. The jumpsuit is a bit of departure for me, almost too classic. I’m keeping it for variety and because a jumpsuit was on my wish list for ages. As a one piece with a defined waist, it is almost impossible to find one that fits me.

Super stylish all around. That jumpsuit is superb on you. I love the dark navy pieces, too, especially the pinstripe pants with the bold patterned tee. The two dresses are smashing--nice to have a little lightness mixed in for summer! I had to laugh at your wanting to wear nothing but black and white for summer! But I think summer is a hard time to dress stylishly and comfortably, so maybe it's natural to yearn for the easiest options.

How great to see your style again - I always admire it and notice your structure from your footwear and bags and a bit of skin that makes things look so natural.

Those Massumo Dutti flats are great - they look similar to the Everlane Dayglove that I have admired.

I’ve always loved summer dressing more than any other season - one or two pieces and you are done! Also, less difficult to deal with altering clothes to fit. And this is a season when I do “colorful “, well colorful enough for me

Always a delish to see your gorgeous minimal style and the color scheme I also am deep in it at the moment (all neutral) so I don't see what you said about "so much color" or those are not shown here??? Haha.hope you just don't think about the marimeko prints that way as those prints are always fab and they really fit in your neutrals!!! Take care with your foot, your shoes seem to work and look stylish and curent even during injury which is great!

I love my Marimekko dress, it is a favorite of mine. I’m a huge fan of their prints and despite my minimalism, I wear it with pleasure.
