WIW - some faux fur and leather

Some WIWs from this week at work.

Outfit 1: I decided to try a grey palette and really liked how my faux fur scarf jazzed up the basic knit and skirt look and added a nice amount of warmth too.

Outfit 2: New suit with faux fur collar - a fun addition to my wardrobe, worn with a pink knit. I removed the pink bow from the jacket. I love the colour of the faux fur and it surprisingly works with a lot in my wardrobe.

Outfit 3: Snakeskin print dress with leather blazer and black belt with orange buckle. Worn to work and also to a Mother's Day morning tea at my son's school.

This black leather blazer is turning into a firm favourite, as it seems to work with just everything.

All suggestions for improvement are much appreciated. I am loving our cooler temps that allow me to wear long boots and layers!

Oh, that's a gorgeous scarf. Kind of a 1940s glam look you have going there. And I've been wanting a snake print skirt, too.

UmmLila, I am enjoying the snake print dress because it is nice to get a winter dress in light colours.

Taylor, I was worried that the pink faux fur collar looked tacky. Glad you think it worked. The collar is removable, so it is a nice suit without the statement collar.

I love all of this - especially the pink fur trimmed jacket. I'm not familiar with the brand Cue - will have to look it up.

If the pink fur collar is removable, perhaps it would look great and provide a lovely touch of colour on the grey dress as well?

The black leather blazer is casual elegant, and I imagine it would also look gorgeous with a column of colour (pullover/blouse + skirt/pants) in colours like blush, camel, or light blue.

Brooklyn - it is fun to add a new element to my signature style. I have always enjoyed faux fur, so it is great to pick up some pieces and enjoy whilst it is trending.
