WIW - slouchy to a fault

I wanted to wear these new to me slouchy linen blend trousers and then Angie's post reminded me that I need to wear these sneakers. Or maybe not - I sort of liked the result but will understand that this is not everyone's cup of tea.
#2 is how I actually went out - luckily I always wear a hat outdoors so I don't have to deal with too many reactions to my multi-colored hair.
#3 are another slouchy pair of jeans - I have had these lilac loafers for a couple of years - I am never sure how to wear them. Or if I should be wearing them at all.
#4 the sneakers in question - vintage Chanel, which I find particularly funny coupled with the word sneakers!

All suggestions for improvement or purging are welcome!

Thanks for you kind words annaj and missvee! I am growing my hair out tentatively but completely at least until the summer and then I will make a decision. I had to make a mental commitment to a certain amount of time or I would never last - I really don't like this in between stage at all!

Wow, Shevia, you look sensational in that beautiful blue top. It's just lovely on you. Elegant yet relaxed. i love the whole outfit. The sneakers are amazing!!! What a great find. You definitely get upscale things in your consignment adventures!

I really like #2 as well and think you have styled the loafers really well. They're cool! I can imagine they'd be tough to work with, though. I have a top in that colour. I really like the top but find it a devil to wear. There are styling details in addition to the colour that make it hard to work in, but yikes. I thought it would be so easy...and it is not.

I didnt think "dressy sneakers" were my thing but you may have me reconsidering! I love the slouchy pants with the cobalt and graphic white belt. I like wearing a hat out too, yours is fab!

#1 and #2 are KILLER. Your belt bookends the sneaker wedge in a special way. I vote wear those sassy sneakers

Shevia, if you don't mind me asking, why is it that you always wear a hat outdoors. Is it for reasons that are not related to style?

Thanks for your slouchy support everyone! Angie, you know you can ask me whatever you want. There are lots of Israeli women that cover their hair, indoors and out, for religious reasons, but my reason is just practical - I am very prone to hyperpigmentation and too much sun on my faces brings out the melasma etc. that I try so hard to control. I also run cold and a hat keeps me warm in the winter, keeps me dry in the rain, and really I don't know why more people don't wear them! (High five to Sara A!)

Why is it you don't wear the lilac loafers much? They work well with the outfit in #3, but are you feeling good when you wear them?

Gorgeous! Every. Single. One. The cobalt top is my favorite of them all, but I adore #3 for all of its very fun retro '80s update joyfulness. Modern, with just a wink to retro. I keep trying to convince my (ahem) younger peers that '80s fashion was not entirely about Valley Girl pastels and side ponies! This slouchy, modern trouser with the white tank, jacket and tennis shoes reminds me so much of the looks that I aspired to in the '80s, but at the same time it is so current that it just has me sighing wistfully into my cup of tea while listening to Love and Rockets on iTunes. Gorgeous.
