WIW - Skirts plus sick kitty ETA Update

Here are two skirt outfits. We got back from our trip yesterday and my kitty is sick. Not sure what's wrong and I'm afraid to google her symptoms and get (hopefully unnecessarily) freaked out. She's not eating right, throwing up and lethargic. DH is taking her to the vet today and I hope it's nothing too serious.

#1/2 - I think this would have looked better with a heel instead of flats, but I worked until noon and then my family picked me up and we headed up to Colorado for the holiday weekend. My parents have a cabin near Vallecito Lake. I didn't want to take a pair of heels up to the woods so wore these flats.

#3/4 - Wore this today although the skirt length is a little odd to my eye. It's not a maternity skirt and normally sits at knee length but it has a zipper and a tie. If I don't zip it and just use the tie, I can still wear it, but now it sits lower.

The vet doesn't seem to know what's wrong with Domino. She gave her a shot to keep her from throwing up, fluids because she's dehydrated, and said to try to get some wet cat food in her. If she's not improved by tomorrow, they will do bloodwork and x-rays. So far she's not improved but it's only been a couple hours. She's not an old cat, only 3 years old, so it's disturbing to see her sick.

Poor Domino.Could she have gotten into something while you were gone?

Oh, no!! I do hope it is something like my Max had...it went away as mysteriously as it came after a couple of days (and $500 in vet bills, but worth it to know it wasn't serious.)

If she will take wet food and/ or water, she will probably be okay. She will need hydration in the heat but the wet food will provide that.

My kitty was sick with similar symptoms twice (and he is under 2 year old) Both times I freaked out but it was king of flu. Does she have a fever? Definitely try to get her eating. Is there any food she is mad about? For mine it was tuna, he refused to eat but I was able to tempt him with canned tuna. Also you may heat the canned food a bit to get it smell more or add a bit of hot water to it. For my kitty it lasted 2-3 days until he got back to normal. I hope she will get better soon!

Hope kitty is ok - great summer looks regardless of pregnancy.

I don't think she got into anything but it's hard to say for sure. We were gone for 4 days and there was about a day's worth of food in her bowl (she has an automatic feeder) when we got home, so I think she was only sick for about a day before we got back.

Hope Domino is feeling better today! It's so hard watching an animal suffer, because they can't explain what is wrong, and you can't figure out how to help them.
