Hi fabtastic ones! Tonight I am playing my guitar and leading our first ever Community Sing at the local Salvation Army rec room. I hope it goes ok, hope people come, hope they will sing, and hope it makes someone smile. On the playlist are old favorites like "Bicycle Built for Two" and "The Yellow Rose of Texas," as well as modern songs like "Downtown" and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". It's just a crazy project I took on, and luckily my hubby is totally supportive, and is my roadie. Wish me luck.
I took these pics last week and liked the outfit so much I am wearing it again today. The only change is that today I am wearing my green beetle earrings. Beetles give me strength! The earrings pictured are copper Native American designs (a Grand Canyon souvenir). They look like robots, which I dig.
This is my first skirt-with-booties foray and I am feeling happy in the combination. A bit like a cowgirl. Sorry, no flowerpot option as the socks are necessary for comfort, since the booties rub me the wrong way at the tops.
