Here's some recent shorts outfits. I wear a lot of shorts with graphic tees, but this season I'm also trying out some non graphic tees paired with my shorts to mix things up.
#1 to #2 - Pink WHBM Mid-Rise Pret-A-Play Shorts and Rails Pink Palm Tree Embroidered Linen Shirt
These pink WHBM shorts were my first pair from the Pret-A-Play line and each year I add another color. This pink pair have gotten too big but I'm going to try to squeeze one more season out of them. I haven't seen WHBM feature this pink color in quite some time, I am hoping they bring it back at some point.
#3 to #4 - Lucky Brand Butterfly Graphic Tee and Taupe WHBM Mid-Rise Pret-A-Play Shorts
Shorts, a graphic tee, and sneakers is a go to formula for me when it's too hot outside to layer.
#5 to #6 - Lysse Amanda Stretch Twill Shorts and White Caslon Lace Sleeve Top
I really like the color of these Lysse shorts, but I struggle to style them. It took me a while to realize the culprit is the material. I do not like how these shorts look with graphic tees, the material calls for something a little dressier on top.
#7 to #8 - Coral Amazon Mid-Rise Curvy Fit Slim Shorts and Billy T Wild Cactus Denim Embroidered Shirt
These coral Amazon shorts are one of the two new colors I'm trying out this season (the other is peach sorbet skinnies). I look forward to styling them with various colors.
#9 to #10 - Unexpected New Adidas Breaknet Sneakers in Powder Blue
These Adidas sneakers were an unexpected recent addition. I wasn't actively shopping for fashion sneakers at the moment (I have plenty) but I already own the Breaknet style in a navy pair and they are very comfortable to my fussy feet. When I stumbled across this powder blue pair I had to have them.
#11 to #12 - Plaid Shirt and White Bermuda Shorts
This plaid shirt was thrifted a while back and I can finally start pairing it with shorts, yay!
I enjoy wearing shorts of all inseam lengths but I always struggled with the fit of Bermuda lengths. I do not like my shorts to cling to my thighs. Last year I decided to try going up one size for these white Bermuda shorts and that solved the problem perfectly. I got the waist taken in and now I enjoy having Bermuda shorts in my collection.
