WIW - second hand style - YouLookFab Forum

I was inspired by today's blog column to post these outfits that all feature a second hand items (two of them Italian!). I don't usually mention where I get my clothes (maybe I should?) but these are quite typical mixes of a lot of second hand with Zara.
#1,2 Moma oxfords (consignment) with Zara shirt, thrifted bone bag, thrifted jean shorts, Zara belt
#3,4 thrifted Liviana Conti slouchy trousers, thrifted Zara top, Anyi Lu wedges
#4,5 Balenciaga Pants shorts (consignment), Renato Nucci thrifted silk top, Couple Of loafers, thrifted Efika black bag

I feel like there is a lot going on with the first outfit with the belt and the bag. High happiness with the middle outfit, and also pleased with the third one although I may have been the only one - feel free to say such baggy bloomers are not your style. Any other comments or suggestions welcome!

I love the first outfit - the mix of blues with your great accessories is wonderful on you. You look very *cool*. Also love your mix of dark colours in outfit 2 - very chic. The loose shorts in 3 are definitely an acquired taste but I think you carry off this look very well.

I love each outfit and could see the shoes from #2 with outfit #3. You look amazing in the light blues and cream.

Wow, Shevia -- I honestly can't pick a favourite here. I hear what you are saying about #1, but you look so lovely and fresh in the pale blues and creams. And 3-5 are absolutely K-worthy, in my books. LOVE. Those are some gorgeous trousers and shorts. Rather than not liking the baggy bloomers, I adore them. They are perfect for your climate.

I really like #1 and don't think there is too much going on. Great shoes in #2 and the bloomers look fun and cool to me. Temps are in the 90's here so I'm all about cool and comfortable right now.

The first outfit has a bit more going on than you usually wear but it is not over the top at all. Love you in the soft blue color and the oxfords are divine.

The slouchy trousers and baggy shorts are SOOOOOOO FAB I can't stand it!

I am delighted that the baggy bloomers have some fans! I wore that while walking my friend's baby up and down the street during her hair appointment in a upscale neighborhood and was not sure about some of the looks I was getting.

Although 2 and 3 are my favorites, I don't think there's too much going on in 1 because the colors are light and harmonious. Your style is just more minimal, so it may feel like TMGO, but it looks great. The other two outfits I'd steal in a heartbeat!

All of these are great but I esp. love #1 - that powder blue and the whole outfit is just perfect in that summer way and it is very flattering on you. I think the combo of the belt/shoes and bag really make it a stylish outfit in the best way.
