WIW - Sci-fi tie-dye - YouLookFab Forum

I've been having a touch of insomnia lately, and so I spend my time dreaming up outfits in my head, while waiting for Mr. Sandman. Submitted for your entertainment: my latest insomniac vision.

I feel very natural portraying a space girl, right down to my moon boots. I'm ready to go stomping on some otherworldly horizons. My style persona of "Sedona Sister" may not at first seem to incorporate sci-fi fashions. But Sedona is well known for alien encounters, in addition to art, red rocks, and crystals. So I feel I'm in familiar territory, just exploring the edges.

Glad I'm not the only one who plays paperdolls in her head when she can't fall asleep! Unlike my "imaginary" outfits, though, yours works great in person! Love that tunic with the booties. And I love your Sedona Sister persona -- having been to Sedona many, many times, sci-fi fits indeed!

This looks relaxed and practical JJ. I have similar black boots and since getting them have worn then a lot. So comfortable and go with most.
You have kept your shorter hair do- looks so nice

Lyn, thank you! I like being called JJ. Yes, the black booties are versatile, you are so right. I'm growing my hair, but for now it is short. I like it but it tickles my face, I am very fussy. So back to a ponytail, or a pixie, I think those are my only two perfect lengths. ha ha

Too cute Julie! I had to do a double take when you mentioned layering a tunic over a long-sleeved T (it looks like one piece-- cool). You look adorable, and I like your bangs styled over to the side. Lol about ponytail/pixie. I hate having hair in my eyes or face; it drives me NUTS! And I'm raising an imaginary glass to midnight outfit creation. I always wonder if I'm creating outfits because I can't sleep, or if I can't sleep because I'm creating outfits.
