The title of my post is a nod to the Gibb brothers and the sad passing of Robin Gibb. The news has been plastered with scenes from Robin's funeral service. I guess I was thinking about how many of my high school years were spent listening to the Bee Gees. Yes I know they had been around for years prior to Saturday Night Fever but that is my first remembered experience of their music. Whenever I hear any of the songs from that soundtrack it immediately takes me back to the heady days of high school - crushes on boys, school dances and having the whole world of adulthood still to explore.
So here is what I wore Saturday night to attend a surprise 40th for DH's baby brother. It was at a sports club and he was definitely surprised. Picture 4 is what I wore during the day to catch up with some old high school friends (that's also why I had the Bee gees on my brain). My best friend organised the impromptu breakfast get together as several of our old school mates including her brother were back in Kiwi land for brief visits - lots of smiles and laughter and do you remember whens.
