I got a new red peacoat for Christmas this year, and I wanted to show it off. The sleeves are a bit long, but since I often forget my gloves, I'm pretty okay with that. I'm also excited because this is my first non-parka and it isn't black!
Showcasing it with a few other new goodies from Santa this year.

1. Not as sure of how good it looks with a flared skirt, but it certainly looks better than my parka did.

2. My darling dad gave me this pin. It is absolutely not my style. In any way. But I love him more than I dislike the pin.

3. Coat worn open. Thoughts?

4. A smattering of snow meant flat boots, fleecelined tights, flared skirt, and some color going on up top.

5. Close up of my jewelry of the day. The necklace is new. DNA spiral!! Much more style, and a gift for Christmas from my BF. Quite happy.

6-7. Pinstripe shirt with a scarf, wide legged trousers, and my Docs Saras. I promise you this scarf is red. Really blue-red...I have no idea why it photographs looking pinky.

8. The red scarf. I've taken Angie's advice here and kept the scarf ending a bit higher up. How did I do?

9. Here's the coat with trousers. I feel like it looks better with trousers compared to skirts.

Thanks for looking. I have a feeling if my weight loss continues, this coat will only get one winter of wear, so any suggestions or thoughts for things to look for next time around?

ETA: Sadly my purple hair doesn't seem to be lasting well. I'm left with all my highlights up front, and a general purple glow. Nothing drastic. I'm kind of sad....I wanted it to last longer.
