It hit 80 degrees in our house today, which is my breaking point — I was trying to hold out until June to run the AC, but with high humidity, I just can’t take that kind of heat in my own home.
So, cool, comfy and casual it is to do some work at home and run out to the post office later. I’m debuting the Ripskirt, which is easy and lightweight — feels good in these temps. Simple black Madewell tank, and my Chaco house/camping flip flops. Added a ring and white resin hoop earrings just to feel a little more dressed.
No makeup other than tinted moisturizer, tinted lip balm, and the barest swipe of mascara. My hair is still damp — not blow drying much these days. You can see how much grey has grown in, especially in the selfie under our skylight. I can’t say I feel stoked about it in the least, but I’m not dying to get to the salon either, all things considered. I’m turning 55 soon, and this is what it is. I’m doing the best with what I have right now.
