Thank you, one and all. I do find it interesting that there has been such a varied response to both the footwear and the red tights themselves. To me that says that it is very much a matter of individual taste. Which means I might just as well do whatever I feel like. ;o) Or switch it around, depending on the mood of the day.

I logged in just to say I love this look on you, and don't find it age inappropiate, at all. I love that the tights and top are deep red, which goes well with a dark denim skirt, and see there is a matching color print in your scarf, too, which ties all together! It's an interresting look, and would love to see more of these on women of all ages, if done like you(properly!)thus I love it the most both with the ballet flats or the high boots, and for a matter(?) just less with the midcalf boots.
