These are embarrassing to post compared to other WIW's, but here goes.

We went to Chicago for a couple of days to see friends, so no requirements to get all dressed up. What I ended up actually wearing was very different than what was floating around in my head, enough that I kind of started to panic. I knew I could have gotten by with one pair of pants, but didn't know what we were going to be doing.

#1, #2 and #3 were day one, walking around, out to lunch and dinner. In reality the Sam Edelman booties only lasted for day one. Gigantic blister on the bottom of one foot after so much walking. #3 is the only true on site photo. Texstyle had suggested a black chunky necklace for my new dress. I had forgotten about this one that I already had, so thanks for jogging my memory Tex!

#4 was out and about and casual dinner on day 2. Had to make the switch to my Naot comfort shoes because of the blister.

#5 was for early departure home. Soft and comfortable Naots won out for the drive, part of which was spent on the side of the highway with a flat tire.
#6 is the new Vince Camuto quilted coat. The weight was absolutely perfect for the weather. The little black purse is my travel light bag. Zipper gloves were a TJ Maxx purchase last year and remind me of Mo's shoes in her ikat pant thread. This scarf goes with so much of my wardrobe, I'm quite fond of it.

Suggestions for improvement - and there is certainly lots of room for that - are welcome. Thanks!
