Hi friends, just a quick post to share my annual pink purchase. This is a tradition for me in the spring ... I always buy something pink to help me trudge through winter's lingering cold and gray. So far I am hitting my "one purchase per month" goal, and this oversized blazer was purchased second hand hooray (I guess someone was over Barbiecore pink, to my benefit!) I wore it out for Easter lunch with my family, would have preferred it with a white base but alas my white jeans had a muddy splash on the back that has taken them out of rotation until I can figure out how to get it out, so black jeans, tank and booties it was.

A pink addition in the spring is a great idea! The pink blazer fits you beautifully and it's a lovely color. I like it with the black and it'll be just as stunning with a white outfit too.

I ❤️ that it is second hand - and colourful! Love the look of your boots with the snip or squared off toe. Very posh column of black under the bright blazer.

FWIW, I got Easter chocolate on my new ecru jeans, but treated them with with a dab of baby shampoo and cold water and wit came out. A pre-treat with a generic stain remover and Oxyclean might work too. DS had a bloody nose and stained a pillow case. I didn’t notice it until it had been washed and was in the ironing pile - so had been dried in the drier - which set stains. Anyway, I treated it and let it sit for 3 hours, then washed in hot water with Oxyclean and a Tru-Earth laundry strip. The stain is gone!

Oh, fun--what a great pink, and it does look like something Barbie would wear if she told the news. I think I am going to start Googling Barbiecore--I like fashion that is loud and unafraid.

Love it! And while lingering winter sounds a little trying, I'm down here sweating through 85 degree days in April. It's too early for that s&%$!!! I should buy something new and pink also, to cheer up about it.

What a great find! I suggest you wear the heck out of it this spring I’d love to see it with a white shirt and the same black bottoms, especially since your watch is black and white. I think it has great mix and match potential actually!

As an aside to RunCarla, is this the Oxyclean product you use? You seem to work many miracles with it. I also love the TruEarth laundry strips.

Lovely! You might get more wear out of this blazer than you think! I have a similar one and I wear it with (blue) jeans and navy just as you've done with black. I wore it for easter brunch with off-white wide leg jeans and a pale blue top. Enjoy it!
