Can I get a prize for wearing the most inappropriate shoes to our friends' farm? The tank and shorts aren't too bad, but the flip flops definitely don't work. Our friends recently moved from Albuquerque to a nearby more rural community (only 30 minutes away) and now have farm animals like chickens and horses. There's also stickers, dirt, and snakes. Everyone in the family got a ride on their horse (my friend was leading the horse and just stepped out of the picture frame for a couple seconds). It was fun but next time I'll be prepared and wear closed toe shoes.
