With rolling lockdowns, getting an appointment for a haircut is akin to winning the lottery! As a result, I’ve let my hair grow into a style (layered bob) that looks ‘okay’ if I can’t get in for a cut, and I can approximate short hair by putting it up. First attempts with hair elastics resulted in a sore feeling after a couple of hours, so I found another use for the elastics and resorted to big barrettes to hold up a French twist. DS#2 (who is also growing his hair) suggested we try scrunchies. We split a pack sourced from the grocery store. So much more comfortable! Then yesterday I got a lovely care package of the most perfect hair accessories from YLF friend Nemosmom!
