Hello.

I like plaid shirts at anytime of year, but especially for fall.

#1 to #4 - White/Blue Plaid Shirt by Como Vintage and Rosemary WHBM Pret-A-Play Shorts
My summer clothes in various shades of green have been in heavy rotation for our hot fall days.

#5 and #6 - Paige Dani High Waist Denim Shorts in Vintage Muted Blush and Caslon Plaid Flannel Button-Up Shirt in Olive-Purple Adley Plaid
Blush and olive green have become one of my favorite color combinations lately.

#7 and #8 - Caslon Cotton Blend Joggers in Navy Blazer and Caslon Plaid Flannel Button-Up Shirt in Navy-Blue Noelle

I finally had a day that I wasn't in shorts! I've been eyeballing the chalk Coach bag I put in the finds since NAS and it went on sale this week. I'm hoping the strap of the bag will work with my sloping shoulders (most single strap bags slide off unless I can wear the bag crossbody style). I think the white color would have looked nice with this outfit.

What a great assortment of plaids! They suit your casual polished style. I love the first combination with the Tumi bag really pops against the blue,green and white! Pink and green is one of my favorite combos too and you can do no wrong in blue. I hope the white bag works for you! It’s gorgeous!

Fab plaid assortment. I have 3, in varying weights for the varying seasons. You saw summer one, which is cotton Tommy Hilfiger (thrifted brand new with tags for the equivalent of a US dollar)! Blue is your colour, as you know. YLF!

Your plaids look great for fall. Do you buy the shirts from men's or women's areas? I am looking for a plaid in red and green to use with a Christmas tee. My bottoms are all neutrals.

Hope the chalk Coach bag works out! I have three Coach bags - and they are impeccable and gorgeous. Very robust! I travel with them. I have some great coach straps too.

cjh - Layering shorts has been key for me for our fall weather where we run cool in mornings and evenings but hot enough for just shorts and a tee during the daytime.

Joy - My plaid shirts are women's styles. I have had a lot of success with Caslon, Rails, and LL Bean (LL Bean usually has a seasonal red and green option every year). I've seen some nice plaid shirts from Boden too, but I haven't tried their shirts yet.

The shirt in #5 was a new one for me, inspired by the pink and green I've been pairing together this fall. I look forward to pairing this shirt with the gold sneakers.

You have a lovely collection of white Coach bags. I have a couple of Coach bags and they have lasted a long time (two of them are over twenty years old). I normally use the straps the bag came with and had not considered branching out to swapping the straps on the bags. A brilliant idea! Thanks!

Suz - I really like how many plaid shirts I see are made of a soft material with a curved hemline which gives a nice drape for my outfits and looks really nice half tucked, or left untucked. I'm not a fan of stiff shirts and full tucking at the moment.
