WIW - plaid and a blazer

I just saw that I hadn't posted this WIW pic yet, I wore this a few days ago. I rarely wear this blazer because I prefer my comfy pullovers, but I thought it was time to change things up at least a little bit.

Does it look okay?

The proportions of blazer and skirt look just right. I like the look of the blazer better than a cardigan. Can you layer it under your puffer coat?

Love this! Smart and ever so subtly suggesting active outdoorsy life without going sporty. Very English country-comes-to-town, to my eye, though probably just my familiarity with British vs Continental culture dictates that.

Perfect description, Beth Ann! As Joy has mentioned, the proportions work just right for you, Astrid! But more than that, I love the way you look so comfortable in the clothes you have chosen. Personally, I think that is the secret to rocking any outfit- and you rock this!!

I know it's a bit derivative, but I can also see this skirt sans jacket with a fine gauge black knit and a patent leather belt!

I have to admit I didn't love this skirt before, but somehow I see a lot of appeal in it now! I like that it's longer, it makes it kind of bold. The blazer looks cute, too

I love it! You're my inspiration for wearing blazers and skirts. I too am trying to reach for blazers instead of always knitwear, but I'm not doing a terribly good job at it so far. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one defaulting to sweaters!
