Thank you all! DD1 will be delighted when I read her all your compliments!
Sal, Thanks! Seder dinner included soup, brisket, chicken, asparagus, potatoes, string beans and this is on top of the appetizers during the first part of the evening and the ceremonial "sandwiches" that start the meal. To say nothing of the required glasses of wine! Kind of crazy and fortunately we only do it once in Israel.
Jane - Thank You! I couldn't resist the graphic in the last t.
Ledonna - I no longer have to run to keep up with my kids, but certainly understand why you need gym shoes now!
Rachy - The best part of the table was the smell of the jasmine and citrus blossoms that is everywhere this time of year - too bad I can't transmit it.
Brooklyn - Aww, shucks and I will do a close up next time.
Cardiff girl - Thank you! I do appreciate the weather here, especially when I hear about everyone else's winters.
Mainelady - Thank you! DD has really blossomed this year.
Ummlila - I have always avoided ballet flats but these convinced me to give them another try.
torontogirl - Thank you! I love being called funky!
Bijou - Thank you!
RobinF - I think the shirt is just a bit too long, but I will add structure and try again.
Aquamarine - Thank you for the sweet compliment!
Suz - I agree with you about both tees and ballet flats. But sometimes I just have to challenge my assumptions, if you know what I mean - and I know you do.
Katerina - Thank you for the lovely comments! Yes, the combination of the trousers and the big bag just drag me down. I will try again with something shorter and a smaller more structured bag.
Angie - Yes, it is crazy how they are all grown up and my son is as tall as my husband. Thank you for your kind words. The third definitely needs more leg - agree completely.
Joy - Thank you! Funny, I was never a ballet flats person, and am not sure if this is going to be a phase or just a moment. Agree the bag in the last one is too big!
Eta - Lisa exactly. And I yet I persist.
Since a lot of you mentioned enjoying seeing the table, I am adding a shot of the living room set up for the first part of the evening. Passover seder is actually centered around reading a book of different texts relating to the holiday, interspersed with many ceremonial foods and glasses of wine. Traditionally everyone sits around the table for all that, but we took on a variation of the tradition where everyone sits around in comfy chairs until the meal is actually served.
