I just completed a sweater that I started ages ago. Maybe before Thanksgiving, even. I put it aside to complete other projects, but I wanted to finish it while it was still cold (and now snow is forecasted, so no problem there).

I chose this pattern and yarn to go with this lovely wool midi skirt. I got this from Gentle Herd, which is I think more of an importer of Asian clothing? It was not expensive for what it is, but I did have to wait around 2 months for it to ship. It's substantial, lined, has pockets, and is my favorite color. But I haven't had quite the right top for it, and it's been a smidgen too tight after the usual holiday diversions, so it hasn't been worn.

So finally thr sweater is done drying after being blocked, amd even though it's a very low key, sleepy, cold and rainy, work-from-home Friday, I decided to pull out my fleece lined tights and wear the outfit!

I recently watched Karla Welch on MasterClass, and one of the many things I thought were inspiring was her challenge to think of all your clothes they way you do your jeans. In other words, wear what you want and don't be precious about anything.

Hence, I love my outfit today, even though it probably won't be seen by anyone besides my family! Shoes are untied because, well, I didn't actually wear them.
