I’ve been enjoying everyone else’s pink even though it’s not a color that particularly speaks to me.

However, I have a couple of hot pink/magenta items. This cashmere scarf is one of them — I think it’s almost ten years old and I don’t wear it often, but it’s nice and I enjoy wearing it from time to time.

I’m also debuting the convertible Bernardo coat with the leather Moro insert today. It’s quite chilly and windy so the coat and scarf are welcome! I’ll probably add my black cashmere beanie when I go out.

The top is new — my favorite local boutique had an anniversary sale and I got this in it. I’d been keeping an eye out for something with a bit of purple/plum, but there’s not a lot out there. This Rag & Bone top works nicely to dress up or down, and layers over a tank or a long-sleeve layering tee. I like the elevated slightly boho vibe of the velvet burnout print. I debated a semi tuck but am wearing it untucked today.

I’m wearing this to go grocery shopping but also to meet friends later for dinner and to see a favorite band (Luna) at a nearby venue. I’ve had a nasty head cold all week but got extra sleep last night so I’m hoping I’ll rally for tonight’s events!
