I've had this dress for several years and I've never worn it. It's too short even for me. The outer layer is sheer and it has a silk lining, however the lining stops above the beading on the bottom making it feel even shorter. The loose shape isn't that flattering and grey isn't a great color on me. Also, when I've tried to pair it with black leggings or tights, I feel like the outfits are too bland and somber. However, for some reason I've held onto it through several closet purges. I decided to try it as a tunic with white skinnies and I'm really liking this outfit. I'm not sure I've actually rescued it though since I can't think of any other combinations for it.
