Today I wore an outfit consisting of almost only old items (more than 5 years old, some more).
I was wearing a pair of grey wool trousers from Escada, a blue pinstriped thin wool coat from VanLaack, black boots from Tod’s and my quite old silk scarf from Versace. I wore this outfit to work today. The snake patterned bag is newish to my standard - about two years old and is from Abro. sunnies are also more than five years old and are from Moschino.
This version of the outfit I actually wore and it was fine, comfy. It consists almost entirely of cool colours and IMO gives a cool (temperature-wise) impression.
Then I tried something new to me - to use a pop of warm orange colour in the form of an orange bag worn cross-body. I also changed the scarf to a vintage Pierre Cardin scarf with a bit of orange peaking from the collar. It is a bit interesting how these small details change the vibe and the temperature of the outfit. Also, the second version feels a bit more casual. Do you like the outfit? And if you do, which version do you prefer?
