WIW - one last warm day

I don't have many tops besides warm wool pullovers that work with this skirt, so I was glad when I remembered the denim vest and that I could layer it over my longsleeved T-shirt. The weather was great, I've been soaking up the sun and warmth. I didn't even need a jacket.

What do you think? Do you like it?

Yes! I do like it! I like how the denim jacket picks up on the blues in the plaid and the nice short length works well with the length and flare of your skirt (I love that it has pockets). The texture of your tights adds some added interest too. Looks great.

I love the subtle colors in that skirt and am a fan vest over the tee--- have you considered a denim jacket with contrast sleeves? I could totally see you wearing one like Angie has with the direction your style is going, plus they tend to be very good at blocking cold winds. Your hair looks great in picture 2-- lots more wave definition and bounce : ) I really hope you find a shape that works with it, whether that be a pixie or the right bob.

I like it too. With the black sleeves it almost looks like one of those two toned jackets with a back top underneath! And you always look so happy - makes me smile too

Your hair is looking great, and that denim vest is very you - cheeky, good colour, and just right. (I thought it was a two-toned sleeve jacket as well; that's a good look for you, I think.)

Thanks Elly! A denim jacket with contrast sleeves is a great idea. I haven't seen many in stores, but I'll keep it in mind. And thanks on the hair - it's second day after the wash which is very hit and miss, sometimes it looks better after a night sleeping on it, sometime it's a mess.

Thanks Alasse! The denim vest was very inexpensive, it's a cheap departement store brand. But it really works on me, it has just the right length.
