Here are some WIWs from my work week. After stepping outside my comfort zone by wearing skirts I reverted to my usual uniform of pants and tops for the rest of the week.

I have a language class on Tuesday nights so like to keep things reasonably simple. The classroom can sometimes be a bit chilly so a coat is usually in order. I also had to lead the opening session of the class so didn't want to be distracted by too many bits and bobs.

The weather in Auckland has been really unsettled it is late Autumn and the temperatures are still varying quite a bit we've also had a very wet week so Wednesday required rain wear.

TGIF tough day at work today. I manage a very large team of people (not all of them report to me directly) however I had to spend quite a bit of today dealing with some very disengaged people that report to one of my supervisors - there is a lot of change happening in the part of the business we work in and in some cases we haven't managed this well - hence the disgruntled people. Anyway I still managed to feel reasonably serene by continuing to replay the soundtrack of Rumours in my head whilst doing my very best Stevie Nicks impression as I wafted around the office playing with my silk scarf and beads - immune from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune as the bard would say.

Photo 3-5 WIW Friday 18 May - black bootleg jeans, red empire line 3/4 sleeve top, purple long cardi/jacket, patterned silk scarf, red booties, red gypsy necklace. PS I took these photos at the end of the day and my hair is looking like I felt - a bit frazzled.

Anyway as I head into the week-end I will regather my composure to do it all again next week.
