WIW - oldies but goodies

Nothing new here, but I really like this combination. The neckline of the top is very wide though, I don't think I can wear it without an underlayer anymore. I also think I might need to get an haircut soon to get it adjusted before I grow it out further. I just fear that they will cut off too much...

This looks so great on you! I just said a very loud "YAY!"

I see perfect balance of top and bottom - from the neckline to the shape of the jeans and back up again, the eye just travels easily.

I understand about the too big neckline and I am the same, some I just won't wear any more. But I think it is a good example of the wide neckline that works so well for our body shape. It just does not need to be this deep.

ETA: I have hot/cold relationship with my boot cuts and occasionally need reminders like this that they can work so well!

Thanks Ornella! And yes, that's exactly it. Balance. I've become much better at that in the last few months, I think. The neckline is definitely flattering, but I have the urge to keep hold of it every time I bend over, not so much fun. I definitely couldn't wear this to work.

ETA

I have weeks (months?) when I don't wear the bootcuts at all, but then I'm glad I have them from time to time. I think I'm always going to own at least one pair.

You look gorgeous! In the pics the neckline doesn't look like it needs an under layer, but I know things can be different in motion.

I haven't found a new hairstylist yet, so I'm hesitant. Safest bet would probably be to just wait and sit it out, but they're really annoying right now.

I actually really like the neckline on you. The long pendant works so well with it. Your legs look a mile long too, in those bootcuts.

Thanks Diane! I will continue to wear the top, just with a cami underneath. The necklace was a last minute decision, but I think it really works well.
