Hi all, this is my outfit for a casual, early NYE dinner this evening - pre-jammies and my annual date with Carson Daly, of course

I grabbed this BR sweater today and I love the fit of it: fluid, but just barely so. Why the beige spoke to me, I don't know, but I'm really pleased with it and might grab same in another color. I decided to layer on a scarf with some different neutrals, since Angie's "all the neutrals" ensemble turned out to be one of my absolute faves.

LaBelle started a thread around 2015 style resolutions - I hadn't given it much thought, but one will be judging outfits by how I FEEL in them, over and above any other criteria. In this outfit, I feel casually sophisticated, very comfortable, and very me. (I hope that I will not sound conceited with these 'feel' statements - I'm not saying I actually look that way, it's just the vibe it gives me personally )

I love the scarf! And I like the fluid fit of the sweater...as you say, it's not overly roomy, so it still shows off your nice figure.

I like your style resolutions. I hadn't thought about mine yet...I'll have to give it a go! I do know that I want to focus on buying fewer items, only ones that really speak to me.

What Suz said. I may copy your resolution. Most of my outfits now are almost FFBOs, but I suspect that how I feel in them is going by the wayside in my thoughts.

You look fab, TG! I can see why you picked up that sweater. It's a lighter colour yet the fit is totally you. I'd duplicate in other colours too, but I'm guilty of that at this time of the year ;). Happy New Year!
